Designed for curious bakers of all levels, this series will guide you through essential techniques and flavor pairings, all in a welcoming kitchen environment. You’ll leave each session with delicious handmade desserts to share—or to keep all to yourself!
Class Lineup
Week 1: Moroccan Cakes – Maskouta Citron & Cake aux Dattes

Start your sweet journey with two classic Moroccan cakes:
Maskouta Citron, a fluffy semolina cake infused with lemon zest
Cake aux Dattes, a rich, moist cake sweetened with dates and warm spices
Perfect for tea time or weekend gatherings, these simple yet flavorful cakes are Moroccan staples.
Week 2: Puddings – Mahlabia & Crème Caramel

Dive into silky, spoonable desserts in this comforting session. You’ll prepare:
Mahlabia, a fragrant milk pudding delicately scented with orange blossom
Crème Caramel, a Moroccan take on the French classic, with a rich caramel topping and creamy base

Week 3: Warqa Treats – Briwats & Mhencha

Work with warqa—Morocco’s delicate pastry dough—to craft two beloved almond-filled pastries:
Briwats, crisp triangles filled with sweet almond paste and fried or baked
Mhencha, a beautiful coiled pastry, golden and syrup-glazed
You’ll learn to shape, fill, and bake these iconic sweets like a true artisan.
Week 4: Coconut Cookies – Macaroons (Helwat Del Kouk)
26 November | 15h00 – 17h00
Finish the series with two melt-in-your-mouth Moroccan coconut cookies:
Macaroons (Helwat Del Kouk), chewy and golden, with toasted coconut and a hint of vanilla
